Welcome! I'm Kristi Dawn Riggs, a University Adjunct and International Consultant. I am also a doctoral candidate at Georgetown University's Doctorate of Liberal Studies Program and the creator and co-founder of The Refugee Archive on Substack. I specialize in education, refugee advocacy, and strategic storytelling. With a background in higher education, global development, and media communications, my work bridges the gap between education, policy, and social change, focusing on empowering vulnerable populations.
Kristi’s approach to teaching English transformed our organization's learning environment in Amman. Working with Syrians, Afghans, and Somalis, she used student-centered pedagogical methods to foster confidence and independence through educator consultancy and hands-on instruction.
